There are many, many different styles of sherry. The most delicate are bone dry, and are aged under a layer of yeast (called flor). At the other end of the spectrum are extremely sweet sherries made from raisins, which are sweet dessert wines. In between are rich, medium sweet Olorosos and Cream sherries. At each tasting we’ll pour samples to compare different styles. Come to both tastings to sample the full range of sherries!
March 18 from 1:30-3:30, Sample dry Sherries aged under Flor
We’ll taste Fino, Manzanilla, and Amontillado sherries
March 25 from 1:30-3:30, Sample sherries made without Flor
Full-bodied, rich, medium dry to very sweet
