Bastille Day:
Please join us this weekend for our first Bastille Day Celebration on Saturday, July 13th and Sunday, July 14th! Beneath the bleu, blanc, et rouge bunting we’ll be offering free French wine tastings from 1:30 to 5:30 both days. We’ll also be sampling many of our fabulous, French food offerings. All French groceries, cheeses, and charcuterie will be 10% off all weekend. And as always, we’ll be offering 10% off any six or more regularly-priced bottles of wines. Vive la France! And Salut!
A Brief Introduction:
We are Tom and Carolin, the new owners of Paris Madrid Grocery. We assumed ownership on February 1st of this year and hit the ground running! What we thought would be a brief, two-week closure, turned into a seven week reorganizion of the store. While we’ve managed to post on Facebook and Instagram since reopening the shop on March 22nd, Bastille Day seemed to be a good opportunity for us to make our first effort at reviving the newsletter. We have heard from many of you that the newsletter has been a welcomed and appreciated arrival in your inbox. We know that Sharon and Steve left big shoes to fill in that department. The learning curve for getting the actual, physical store up and running has been quite steep, so thank you for your reading this brief introduction and please keep your eyes open for future additions.
