Free Wine Tasting: Saturday, October 4th
Please join us this Saturday, October 4th from 2-4pm for a free wine tasting. Carolin will be pouring three new selections to our shop.
Viña Século Verdejo-Godello: $13.00 This blend of primarily verdejo with 20% godello from Castilla y León, features citrus and herbal notes on the nose and a bright, fresh palate with some briny minerality. This food-friendly wine pairs well with seafood and creamy dishes.
Viña Gormaz Crianza 2020: $16.00 This 100% tempranillo from Ribera del Duero has an intense ruby color and aromas of ripe fruit with hints of cocoa and roasted coffee. A touch of sweet fruit on the palate with a backbone of tannins and a little acidity, makes this a complex and balanced crianza. Its medium body pairs well with bean dishes, pork, and duck.
Lamblin & Fils Bourgogne Blanc Cépage Chardonnay 2023: $23.00 100% un-oaked chardonnay, this wine has terrific mineral expression and depth. The developed flavors are also fruity and nuanced. An excellent apéritif, pairs well with shellfish and spicy dishes.
